Hayley Maria is based on Waiheke Island, Auckland. With so many requests for memorials from friends and family, she now specialises in this service. Hayley has been a glass artist for over 20 years, experienced in all glass techniques, fusing, casting, torch work and stained glass. Trained in Whanganui specialising in glass blowing in 2017. Glass is a medium that is embellished by light, a perfect medium for making memorials to remember your loved ones.

When Hayley Graduated from UCOL in glass training, she invited Martin Janecky one of the worlds top contemporary glass artists to do demonstrations and workshops so she could learn from the master hot glass sculptor.

Hayley graduated with a master’s degree in art and design in 2006 where she made a divinatory set of cards, using abstract images of water to elicit the meanings of the major arcana of Tarot. With a focus on the principle of the divine and its place in our lives, Hayley’s Angel Glass designs offer her the opportunity to continue her passion through the lens of glass to honour the sacred.
